Grief is a normal,
natural reaction to the loss of a loved one, although at times
it may feel like an emotional roller coaster. This can be a very
challenging time, mixed with different feelings that can be very
confusing.
Grief is individual and
unique. As every relationship is unique, so are the feelings and
thoughts that each person will have about a relationship altered
by death.
Bereavement Care
is available to anyone in the community who has a need. Our
bereavement programs offer a variety of opportunities for
ongoing emotional support and education about grief, loss, and
life adjustments following the death of a loved one.
Casa de la Luz Hospice
services do not end with the death of the patient. Bereavement
services include a supportive phone call program from
professional bereavement counselors, various support groups,
individual counseling, and other specialized programs.

Casa's bereavement support groups/programs are open to the community and there is no charge to the participants.

entrusted into our care. Our memorial services are open to the community and welcome all faiths. Please call our office for the
date of our next scheduled memorial services.
The best gift you can give yourself and your loved one at the time of their death is a funeral or memorial service. Casa can
help bereaved families plan a private memorial service.
